I graduated from the digital media and IT program with a concentration in Animation in 2013. This program gave me a general understanding of 3D and the programs I would use to go further in depth in the industry. I graduated with honors and was able to get some real world experience in the projects I completely at the time.
Digital Media Arts College
Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts focus on Animation. I specialized my degree in modeling. I finished with a 4.0 GPA and on the Presidents List.
Professional Info
After Graduating highschool i worked mostly in the Oil and Gas Field in Western Canada before going back to school. Here is a brief summary of the professional career I had before returning to college for animation in fall 2013.
September 2004 to September 2008
BMW Weatherford
Position: Field Mechanic
Duties: Complete tune-ups & oil changes on 5.7L and 4.3L motors, maintenance on the motors, complete work with hydraulic units, tear down and rebuild well head drives, pumps, skids, etc.
September 2008 to 2013
Midfield Supply
Position: Field Mechanic
Duties: Engine services and repairs on 350 hp engines driving hydraulic screw compressor.
Europump – div. of Midfield Supply
Position: Project Development
Duties: Responsible for project development of specialized equipment for the heavy oil field. Examples of such equipment includes oil injectors, hydraulic fan kits, electronic engine fan kits and glycol pump applications.
Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Duties: Responsible for the training and supervision of two employees, Buy and sell maintenance parts, shipping and receiving and basic warehouse duties.
